Born in Iraq and later naturalised in Britain, Zaha Hadid first obtained a degree in mathematics, then studied architecture in London and opened her own practice in the 1980s. She excelled in her unusual career, winning several architectural competitions that put her on the international scene. The first woman to win the prestigious Pritzker Prize, considered to be the Nobel Prize for architecture, she has established herself as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

She is a pioneer in the field, with hundreds of impressive projects, including City of Dreams, Macau Tower Hotel, Serpentine Sackler Gallery - London, Galaxy Soho - Beijing, and most recently The OPUS - Dubai and Beijing International Airport.
In addition to her world-wide influence on architecture, left by her famous buildings and various exhibitions on her work, Zaha Hadid is also renowned for her interior design, furniture and collaborations with prestigious luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Lacoste and Svarowki.
